About Robyn

For more than 19 years, Robyn Santucci, M.S., C.F.L.S. has devoted her legal career exclusively to family law. Robyn’s early educational background, including her graduate training and credentials in Clinical Psychology, contribute significantly to her adept grasp of the multifaceted nature of family law disputes. Robyn represents a range of clients: professionals, stay-at-home parents, actors, corporate executives, solo business owners, and entrepreneurs. With a specialty in complex custody disputes (often involving substance abuse, domestic violence, and high-conflict co-parenting), Robyn is able to marry her legal talents with her psychological training to strategize an optimum course of action for each client.

While each case presents its own unique challenges, every client receives Robyn’s distinctive brand of thorough representation and compassionate advocacy.

Whether working to effect a settlement outside of court, representing clients in litigation, or acting as consultant to litigants in mediation, Robyn utilizes her legal acumen, breadth of experience, fortitude, and grace under pressure. Robyn has the particular ability to listen carefully and connect with her clients, while clarifying the full picture of their case, educating them about their choices, and creating a strategic plan to protect their legal interests. These traits have earned Robyn the reputation among clients, colleagues and judges, of being a skilled negotiator, trusted counselor and champion of her clients’ interests.

Robyn began her legal career in 2001 at the prestigious San Francisco-based Hersh FamilyLaw Practice, where she handled a full range of family law matters, from representing high net worth individuals to collaborating on precedent-setting custody cases. During Robyn’s decade long tenure at the esteemed Phillips Lerner, ALC, in Los Angeles, she gained extensive experience representing high profile family law litigants. As a Principal of the firm, she brought her own unique expertise to complex dissolutions and high-conflict custody disputes. To further hone her litigation prowess, in 2012 Robyn graduated from the nationally recognized Family Law Institute in Houston, Texas. Thereafter, Robyn was certified as a specialist in family law by the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization, for her demonstrated proficiency, high level of legal experience, and favorable evaluations by other attorneys and judges familiar with her work.

Robyn graduated from the University of San Francisco School of Law where she was awarded the “Best Brief” award for excellence in legal research and drafting. While in law school, Robyn served as a judicial extern for San Francisco Superior Court Family Law Commissioners, the Honorable Marjorie Slabach and the Honorable Susan King, as well as interned in the domestic violence unit of the San Francisco office of the District Attorney. In 2015-2021, Robyn was named to the Super Lawyers of Southern California list by the Los Angeles Magazine which recognized her as a “Rising Star” for five years starting in 2007. Robyn’s complete Curriculum Vitae is available here.
